Receta Mom’s Broccoli Salad
Y’all mom is sharing with us a totally amazing and easy to put together broccoli salad. The different flavors and textures are outstanding in this side dish that can be an entrée by simply adding a sautéed or roasted chicken breast. Let me know what you think about her version and y’all enjoy.
Ingredients:
Large bag of pre-shredded cabbage/carrots (or 1 small cabbage and 2 carrots shredded)
1 pack Ramen® noodles (crushed)
2-3 cups broccoli florets
4 ounces sunflower seeds
1 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Ramen® season packet
In large bowl combine the cabbage/carrots, crushed Ramen® noodles, broccoli, sunflower seeds and almonds.
In separate smaller bowl combine remaining ingredients and whisk together.
Pour wet mixture over the cabbage mixture and combine well
Refrigerate at least 2-3 hours, better overnight. 14 total views, 14 views today
