Receta Mom's homemade donuts
Budget was always tight when I grew up so mom learned how to pinch pennies and this is one of the great recipes she taught us.
Ingredientes
- 2-4 canned biscuits basic pillsbury works best
- oil for frying
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4-1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Direcciones
- Heat oil
- take biscuits from can
- using your fingers place a hole in the center
- drop then one by one into the oil but don't over crowd them
- when golden brown on both sides drain on paper towels
- mix powdered sugar, water, vanilla in a medium bowl
- dip donuts in glaze mixture coating both sides
- place on a plate (no paper towels on this one)
- serve
