Mom's Peach Cobbler

This is not super sweet. The corners of the "crust" are chewy and my favorite part. It is really good served hot with vanilla ice cream or cold by itself.

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Place the butter into a baking dish or pan 13x9x2 and put into the oven to melt. Sift sugar and flour into a mixing bowl then add the milk. There will be some lumps, but that is okay. Pour your batter into the pan with the melted butter and pour the peaches, syrup and all, around in the batter making sure that every area gets some peaches. Bake for about an hour until the "crust" is a golden brown. Enjoy!
