Do you ever look back on some of your recipes and wish you had done a better job? Either the photos needed help or the recipe was just a bit lacking?

Yeah, me too. A lot.

I was thinking the other day of how much I love to cook Asian inspired cuisine. Mongolian Beef came to my mind. I wondered if I had ever posted a recipe. Yup, I sure did. Then I sat there in front of my laptop and realized I needed to redo that recipe.

The photos were totally lackluster. The recipe was good. But I recalled thinking it could have been better. So I went about redoing the recipe.

The core of the original recipe is still there, but this one is so much better. I am telling you this because, you see, Mongolian Beef is the hubby’s favorite thing to order at PF Chang’s. When I told him I was making this for dinner, he told me he wasn’t hungry.

Do you think he secretly didn’t care for it the last time I made it? I was disappointed that he didn’t want to try it.

But wait, there’s more. He watched as Hunter walked over with a plate full. Then he was eyeing my plate. So I asked him if he would like a little bite of mine. ” Yes, please.” he says, “Just a little taste.”

He tastes it, immediately gets up from the couch, walks into the kitchen and makes a plate for himself. Not a chance for seconds for anyone now. He put the rest of the beef that was in the pan right onto his plate.

Hmm. So glad he wasn’t interested.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
