Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. onions
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 (15 ounce.) cans whole tomatoes
  • 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
  • 1 (15 ounce.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/4 c. parsley
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon anise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 box mostaccioli noodles, cooked
  • Meatballs (recipe below)
  • French bread

Direcciones

  1. Brown onions in extra virgin olive oil. Add in remaining sauce ingredients. Simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hrs, stirring occasionally and adding water as needed. Add in meatballs (recipe below) during last 30 min. Remove bay leaves. Serve with noodles and French bread.
