Ingredientes

  • 2/3 c. shortening
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. mashed potatoes (unseasoned)
  • 1 c. scalded lowfat milk
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. hot water
  • 2 Large eggs, well beaten
  • 4-5 c. plain flour

Direcciones

  1. Mix first 4 ingredients and pour the scalded lowfat milk over it all and mix. When cold, add in the rest of the ingredients and mix. Knead. Put back in greased bowl; cover. Place in hot place to rise. Punch down. Put back in refrigerator. When ready to serve, roll out rolls and cut with a biscuit cutter. Place in a hot place to rise and bake in a warm oven for 10-15 min.
  2. Yield: 24-36 average size rolls.
