Ingredientes

  • 5 quarts. popped corn
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Food coloring (optional)

Direcciones

  1. Keep popcorn warm and crisp in a slow 300 degree oven. Combine sugar, water, salt, corn syrup and vinegar. Cook to hard-ball stage (250 degrees). Add in vanilla and few drops of food coloring if desired.
  2. Pour slowly over popcorn; mix well to coat every kernel. This is very Warm. Mix at first with a wooden spoon. Press into balls. Use butter on hands. Makes about 12-15 balls.
