Ingredientes

  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 T salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. lowfat milk, scalded
  • 2 T shortening
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 box raisins, washed and dry
  • 2 packages. yeast
  • 1 c. hot water

Direcciones

  1. Sift flour in large bowl, add in salt, sugar and shortening. Mix well. Add in well beaten large eggs and lowfat milk, then water in that 1 tbsp and yeast have been dissolved. Knead and let rise till doubled, make into loaves and let rise till doubled. Beat 1 egg whites stiff, brush over loaves. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Let cool.
