Receta Muddy Buddy Football Truffles
Our house loves Muddy Buddies! When I make it, I do a great big bowl and usually it doesn't last the day...that's how it is when you have four kids; two of which are teenage boys! With the game being this weekend I was trying to come up with snacks that were easy to make, didn't keep me in the kitchen long, and had to taste delicious. So I decided to turn one of their favorite snacks into truffles, but not just any truffles...football truffles. These were a breeze to make, they taste exactly like muddy buddies and they're perfect for your tailgating party...enjoy!
Ingredients are as follows:
- 3/4 C creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 C butter, softened
- 3/4 C powdered sugar
- 3 C Chex Cereal, Rice or Corn
- chocolate bark, I used about 18 ounces
- 1/2 C powdered sugar
- 4 tsp. milk
Directions:
Cream the peanut butter and butter together.
Mix in the powdered sugar.
Grind up the cereal.
Mix the cereal into the peanut butter mixture.
Spoon out tablespoons onto a cookie sheet and shape into footballs. Place in the freezer for half an hour.
Melt chocolate in the microwave (on 30 second intervals) until melted.
Dip each football into the chocolate (I only removed 5 at a time from the freezer) and place back on the cookie sheet to set up.
Mix together the powdered sugar and milk.
Spoon into a plastic bag, cut the tip and make the "threads" on the footballs.
Serve and enjoy!
