Ingredientes

  • Cake:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • ½ cup baking cocoa
  • 2 tsps. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsps. Vanilla
  • 2 tbsps white vinegar
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups water
  • Icing:
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 4 cups confectionary sugar

Direcciones

  1. For the cake: Preheat oven to 350° degrees.
  2. In a 9 x 13 pan, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Make three holes in the flour mixture. Put vanilla in one hole, put vinegar in 2nd hole, and put oil in the 3rd hole.
  4. Pour the water over all and stir well.
  5. Bake at 350° for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  6. For the icing: In a medium pan melt butter over medium-low heat; add milk and vanilla.
  7. Add powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, until desired consistency – icing should be loose but spreadable
