- Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon
- Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds (til) – 1/2 teaspoon
- Dry kasoori methi leaves – 1/4 cup
- Salt to taste
- Cooking oil for shallow frying
- You can substitute methi leaves with grated cabbage or carrot or chopped spinach to make it more nutritious
