Receta Mushroom Rice ( Gucchi Pulao )

- Heat the oil in a heavy bottomed pan and add in the mushrooms.
- Fry till they turn dark.
- Add in the rice and fry till it is translucent/soft and shiny Pour in the water add in salt and bring to the boil.
- Reduce the heat cover partially and simmer till the rice is fluffy and dry.
- The mushrooms will rise to the top so gently fold them into the rioe with a fork.
- Serve warm with a meat or possibly vegetable curry.
- Depend on basmati rice for aroma.
