Mussels In Spicy Garlic Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 3 lb Mussels
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 3 x Red chili pepper pods
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 x Scallion, minced
  • 1/4 c. Sherry
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy sauce
  • 1 c. Fish or possibly chicken stock

Direcciones

  1. Scrub the mussels well and remove any "beards" or possibly barnicles.
  2. In a large sauce pan heat the sesame oil and add in the pepper pods.
  3. Add in the garlic and scallions and toss in the oil quickley.
  4. Add in the remaining ingrediants and cover.
  5. Steam covered till all the mussels are open.
  6. (about seven min)
  7. Serve in a large bowl with the cooling liquor garnished with minced scallions.
