Ingredientes

  • 500g mutton - cut into bite sizes
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp onion paste
  • 2 potatoes - cut into medium size pieces
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2-3 sprigs coriander leaves - sliced/shredded
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • Salt for taste
  • For the curry paste
  • 1 1/2 tbsp plain red chili powder (or as per taste)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Mix with some water for a thick paste

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil and sauté ginger, garlic and onion paste.
  2. Add curry paste, stir and fry over low heat till aromatic and oil splits.
  3. Add mutton and potatoes, stir and pour about 1/2 liter of water.
  4. Stir again and simmer till both are soft and tender.
  5. (Pressure cooked mutton should be added later)
  6. When the gravy thickens, season with salt.
  7. (For more gravy, pour extra water)
  8. Stir and pour yogurt.
  9. Off heat and continue to stir till yogurt is incorporated smoothly
  10. inside.
  11. Garnish with coriander leaves.
