Receta Mutton Radish Sambar
Ingredients:
- Mutton - 250 gms, washed, cleaned, chopped
- Radish - 2, chopped
- Tomato - 1, chopped
- Green Chilli - 1
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Sambar Onions - 10, peeled
- Red Chilli Powder - 3 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 4 tsp
- Gingelly Oil - 4 tsp
- Tamarind Extract - 1/2 cup
- Saunf - little
- Cinnamon - a small piece
- Curry Leaves - few
- Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pressure pan.
2. Fry the cinnamon and saunf for 30 seconds.
3. Add the curry leaves, sambar onions, garlic, radish and mutton pieces.
4. Stir well and cook till the moisture has evaporated.
5. Add the tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander powder and tamarind extract.
6. Add salt and 3 cups of water.
7. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes or until 3 whistles.
8. Remove and open the lid once the pressure reduces.
9. Serve hot with rice.
