%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20all%20of%20you%20parents%20out%20there%20are%20finishing%20that%20sentence%20w/%20various%20foods.%20For%20some%20kids%20it%20would%20be%20hot%20dogs,%20chicken%20nuggets,%20pizza,%20ice%20cream,%20candy---all%20of%20those%20favorites%20of%20childhood.%20And%20as%20I've%20said%20before%20Alex%20pretty%20much%20eats%20anything%20I%20put%20in%20front%20of%20him.%20But%20I%20think%20if%20I%20had%20to%20choose%20one%20thing%20my%20little%20guy%20would%20eat%203%20meals%20a%20day,%207%20days%20a%20week%20if%20I%20let%20him,%20it%20would%20be%20pasta!!%20I%20can't%20say%20I%20blame%20him,%20his%20mama%20loves%20her%20carbs%20too--Italian%20food%20is%20probably%20the%20cuisine%20I%20would%20choose%20if%20forced%20to%20only%20eat%20one%20type%20from%20now%20on.%20He%20puts%20my%20obsession%20to%20shame%20though.%20This%20kid%20can%20eat%20pizza,%20spaghetti,%20mostaccoli,%20ziti,%20etc%20etc%20etc%20until%20it's%20%20coming%20out%20of%20his%20ears.%20(And%20w/%20the%20way%20he%20eats%20it,%20sometimes%20it%20looks%20like%20it's%20coming%20out%20of%20his%20ears....boys%20are%20sloppy!)%20So%20when%20I%20find%20a%20way%20to%20introduce%20a%20new%20way%20of%20making%20some%20of%20his%20favorites,%20it's%20a%20good%20thing.%20In%20this%20case%20it%20was%20a%20new%20way%20of%20making%20spaghetti,%20which%20happens%20to%20be%20one%20of%20Daddy's%20favorites%20too.%20Sauce%20in%20the%20crock%20pot!%20How%20genius%20is%20that!%20Your%20sauce%20can%20cook%20all%20day%20while%20you%20are%20away%20and%20be%20waiting%20on%20you%20when%20you%20get%20home.%20Boil%20some%20pasta,%20and%20depending%20on%20the%20kind,%20supper%20can%20be%20done%20in%207-10%20minutes.%20I%20like%20using%20angel%20hair%20when%20I'm%20extra%20busy%20b/c%20it%20cooks%20up%20in%20almost%20no%20time%20at%20all.%20I%20found%20this%20over%20at%20Southern%20Plate,%20and%20just%20glancing%20over%20the%20site,%20will%20definitely%20return%20to%20explore%20more%20of%20her%20recipes.%20The%20next%20time%20spaghetti%20is%20on%20your%20menu,%20keep%20this%20in%20mind--%20about%2015%20minutes%20prep%20work%20in%20the%20morning%20will%20equal%20supper%20for%20the%20whole%20family%20on%20the%20table%20in%20under%2010%20minutes%20when%20you're%20dog%20tired%20and%20the%20thought%20of%20standing%20over%20the%20stove%20for%20any%20amount%20of%20time%20is%20equivalent%20to%20inhumane%20torture:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPut%20all%20ingredients%20in%20slow%20cooker.%20Cook%20on%20low%20all%20day.%20Serve%20over%20cooked%20pasta%20of%20your%20choice.%20And%20top%20w/%20Parmesan%20cheese.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*Note*%20For%20a%20leaner%20version,%20substitute%20ground%20beef%20for%20ground%20turkey,%20buy%20low%20sodium%20sauce%20and%20serve%20over%20whole%20wheat%20spaghetti.%20This%20also%20freezes%20very%20well.%20Place%20in%20storage%20containers,%20allow%20to%20cool%20completely%20and%20place%20in%20freezer.%20When%20ready%20to%20use,%20thaw%20enough%20to%20remove%20from%20container%20and%20then%20heat%20in%20crock%20pot%20or%20on%20stove%20top.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPin%20It%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
