Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon peel
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 c. Sugar, divided in half
  • 4 x Large eggs, separated
  • 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 2 c. Sifted flour
  • 2 1/4 tsp Baking pwdr

Direcciones

  1. Cream together butter, lemon peel, vanilla, 1/2 C. sugar and egg yolks. Add in lowfat milk slowly. Beat egg whites till stiff. Add in 1/2 C. sugar. Add in flour and baking pwdr to creamed mix. Mix in stiffly beaten egg whites. Turn batter into mold. Bake about 55 min at 350. For variety, add in 1/2 C. freshly grnd poppy seeds or possibly 1/2 C. rum-soaked raisins.
