Receta Nethili Fish Fry / Spicy Anchovy Fry
Nethili Fish Fry is a popular South Indian food recipe!! It is crispy and delicious. It can be had as a starter and also a snack. The fish gets easily cooked and it tastes brilliant. Who wouldn't love a crispy fish fry? Also fishes are good source of omega 3 fatty acid, proteins and low in fat and cholesterol. Lets see the preparation!!
INGREDIENTS
- Nethili fish/Anchovies - 250 grams
- Gram flour/Besan flour - 5 spoons
- Rice flour - 2 spoons
- Maida - 2 spoons
- Corn flour - 1 spoon
- Lemon juice - 1 spoon
- Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 spoon
- Red chilli powder - 1 spoon
- Cumin powder - 1 spoon
- Salt
- Oil
- PREPARATION METHOD
- Make a batter with the following ingredients; The consistency of batter be like dosa batter, not too watery, not too thick.
- Gram flour/Besan flour +
- Rice flour
- + Maida
- + Corn flour
- + Lemon juice
- + Ginger-Garlic paste
- + Red chilli powder
- + Cumin powder
- + Salt
+ Water.
Marinate the fishes in the batter for atleast 15 minutes.
Deep fry and serve!!
TIP 1: Marinate fishes for 15-30 minutes so that the fish absorbs the masala well!!!
TIP 2: You can do the same recipe with other fishes also!! But be sure to remove the flesh separately from the bones and then do the preparation.
