Ingredientes

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c. powdered sugar

  1. Cook brown sugar, butter, and lowfat milk in medium saucepan over medium\high heat. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally, and boil for 3 min. Remove from heat and allow the bubbling to stop. Add in vanilla. Add in powdered sugar gradually. At this point it will look thin, but as soon as you start spreading it on the cake it hardens very quickly! This makes sufficient for a 9 x 12 cake or possibly the top and middle of a 2-layer cake (so you will want to double it for a 2-layer).
