Ingredientes

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  •     additional butter for hands
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 1 lrg roaster pan of popped popcorn

Direcciones

  1. Combine sugar, Karo, butter, and cream of tartar in saucepan and cook to the hard ball stage. Remove from burner and stir in soda; stir well. Pour over popped corn. With buttered hands, form into popcorn balls.
  2. Makes 20 to 30 balls.
  3. Before pouring syrup mix over popcorn, it should be stirred till it has cooled slightly and can be handled easily.
