.%20I%20used%20good%20quality%20tinned%20tomatoes%20too%20-%20as%20its%20a%20fairly%20quick%20dish%20it%20definitely%20makes%20a%20difference.%20For%20the%20pesto%20I%20must%20admit%20I%20normally%20buy%20in%20a%20fairly%20cheap%20green%20one%20but%20stumbled%20across%20some%20forgotten%20Sacla%20Classic%20Pesto%20shot,%20which%20I%20was%20sent%20as%20a%20sample%20quite%20a%20while%20back%20-%20the%20pot%20size%20was%20the%20perfect%20amount%20for%20the%20recipe%20and%20the%20lovely%20Basil%20flavour%20made%20up%20for%20the%20missing%20basil!%20A%20definite%20keeper%20of%20a%20dish,%20the%20flavours%20all%20worked%20so%20well%20together%20though%20next%20time%20I%20will%20halve%20it%20-%20it%20made%20a%20lot%20of%20food!%20I%20had%20another%20portion%20cold%20for%20lunch%20and%20I%20wasn't%20sure%20if%20it%20would%20work%20cold%20but%20it%20still%20tasted%20good!%20Oh%20and%20best%20of%20all%20it%20cooks%20all%20in%20one%20pan!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20readers%20will%20know,%20I%20am%20a%20terrible%20magnet%20not%20just%20for%20recipe%20cards%20but%20cute%20kitchen%20stuff%20too%20-%20I%20have%20broken%20so%20many%20wine%20bottle%20stoppers%20and%20was%20delighted%20to%20find%20this%20super%20cute%20silicon%20flower%20bottle%20stopper!%20There%20was%20a%20couple%20of%20designs%20but%20I%20was%20good%20and%20only%20bought%20one,%20afterall%20leftover%20wine%20is%20a%20rare%20thing!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20a%20lesson%20dear%20reader.%20Do%20not%20make%20jam%20in%20the%20microwave%20in%20your%20soup%20container.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20new%20tea%20on%20my%20horizon%20is%20this%20beautifully%20presented%20Kenyan%20Earth%20from%20Williamson%20Tea.%20I%20received%20this%20close%20to%20Christmas%20but%20due%20to%20some%20health%20issues%20have%20only%20just%20sampled%20my%20first%20mug%20at%20the%20weekend!%20The%20tea%20container%20in%20itself%20is%20just%20so%20pretty,%20I%20love%20the%20elegant%20Elephant%20design%20and%20she%20sits%20happily%20now%20on%20top%20of%20the%20fridge,%20stuffed%20with%20my%20Kenyan%20Earth%20teabags.%20The%20tin%20tea%20mug%20is%20also%20super%20cute%20to%20enjoy%20it%20in!%20I%20am%20normally%20an%20English%20Breakfast%20drinker%20and%20this%20tea%20reminded%20me%20of%20it,%20though%20with%20a%20little%20extra%20body%20to%20get%20me%20going%20in%20the%20morning%20but%20without%20being%20overpowering.%20A%20very%20pleasant%20cuppa!%20I%20enjoyed%20it%20with%20a%20cheese%20and%20ham%20baguette,%20stuffed%20with%20my%20homemade%20green%20tomato%20chutney%20and%20it%20went%20very%20well!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20but%20not%20least%20I%20am%20delighted%20to%20have%20a%20shiny%20new%20knob%20for%20my%20saucepan%20lid!%20It%20was%20my%20most%20used%20medium%20sized%20Meyer%20saucepan,%20that%20I%20bought%20somewhere%20close%20to%2010%20years%20ago%20-%20and%20was%20gutted%20when%20it%20finally%20gave%20up%20a%20few%20weeks%20back%20and%20fell%20apart%20in%20my%20hands%20-%20however%20I%20contacted%20their%20customer%20services%20in%20the%20vain%20hope%20of%20getting%20a%20replacement,%20as%20I%20really%20am%20not%20ready%20emotionally%20or%20financially%20to%20get%20a%20replacement%20pan%20and%20they%20sent%20me%20it%20for%20free!%20Yay%20to%20great%20customer%20service!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
