Receta No Bake Kitchen Sink Cookies
No-Bake Kitchen Sink CookiesAre these no-bake treats candy or cookies? You'll have to decide if these chocolate and peanut butter cookies are one or the other! But either way, easy and delicious.
Ever want cookies in the summer but it was just too darned hot to turn on an oven to bake them? Here's the solution!
Let the kiddos make these--they're easy!My neighbor Linda L. made these in bar form when she hosted a small lunch for some neighbors. I remember going gaga over them then. I don't think I caught the name of her recipe, but I do remember saying they had everything but the kitchen sink in them, so that's what I'll call 'em.
Linda is our local cookie queen. You can read all about her in an article I wrote for The Examiner (she's moved her blog since I wrote that article so the link is dead) right here. She's also a wonderful cook and expert crafter. She maintains a blog, The Lemon Tree (new blog address), as a hobby and it's a good read; a little of everything running from her days as a professional singer to her genealogy studies to cooking and crafting.
As far as the cookies, just make sure you have everything all measured out before you begin! These are easy peasy and a good recipe for the kiddos to make themselves.
