Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Butter or possibly butter substitute
  • 1 1/2 c. Powdered sugar
  • 5 x Egg yolks
  • 2 x Egg whites
  • 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 3 c. Cake flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3 tsp Caraway seed
  • 2 tsp Rose water flavoring
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon flavoring

Direcciones

  1. Cream butter. Add in sugar and yolks of Large eggs. Beat thoroughly. Stir in unbeaten whites of Large eggs and beat mix. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking pwdr and salt. Add in alternately with lowfat milk to first mix.
  2. Sprinkle in caraway seed, beat well, and add in flavorings. Pour into well-oiled loaf pan. Bake in moderate oven (375 F) 1 hour. Substitute 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring for caraway seed, rose water, and cinnamon if you like. Mrs. C.E. Beam, Statesville, N.C.
