Receta Oatmeal Mini Pieces Cookies
Oatmeal Mini Pieces Cookies
So the recipe for this is on the back of the 10 ounce package of Reese’s Mini Pieces, and even so, it is worth me mentioning because these cookies are SOOOO good! I’ve only seen this package of the mini pieces very recently in the local stores, so I’m not sure if they’re readily available, but if so, pick some up and give this recipe a try..
Oatmeal Mini Pieces Cookies
Yield: 2 dozen cookies
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup shortening (I used butter)
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats (I used quick cooking)
- 1 10 ounce package Reese's Mini Pieces candy
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat shortening (or butter), brown sugar, and sugar in a large bowl until fluffy; beat in egg and vanilla. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt; add alternately with milk to sugar mixture. Stir in oats and candy pieces. Drop by spoonful on a lined baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, cool on a wire rack.
*I like to put the dough in the refrigerator between batches to keep it cold
This recipe was from the package of Reese's Mini Pieces and I wasn't paid to post this recipe!
