Ingredientes

  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. Quick-Cooking Oats uncooked
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 c. golden brown raisins
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 425F. Combine flour, oats, sugar, baking pwdr, salt and soda in large mixing bowl. Stir in raisins. Cut in butter till mix resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in buttermilk just till dough holds together. Knead dough on lightly floured surface about 10 times. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with a 2-inch diameter round cutter. Place biscuits about 1-inch apart on buttered cookies sheet. Bake 12 to 15 min, or possibly till golden brown. Cold slightly. Remove from cookies sheet. Serve hot or possibly cool with butter.
