Oatmeal Rhubarb Crunch

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Sifted flour
  • 3/4 c. Quaker Oats oatmeal, uncooked
  • 1 c. Brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c. Land O Lakes butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 4 c. Diced rhubarb
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1 tsp Vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon till crumbly.
  2. Press half of mix into greased 9" baking pan. Cover crumb mix with diced rhubarb. Combine sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla. Cook till thick. Pour this sauce over rhubarb. Top with remaining crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve hot, plain or possibly topped with Cold Whip.
  3. I usually double this recipe and use a 9 X 13" pan.
