Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 2 x leeks minced
  • 1/2 c. minced celery
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 bot clam juice - (8 ounce)
  • 1 Tbsp. Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp dry basil leaves
  • 1/2 tsp dry thyme leaves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 lb fish fillets cut 1" pcs
  •     (cod, flounder, haddock or possibly halibut)
  • 2 c. cubed cooked peeled potatoes

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter in 4-qt saucepan over medium heat. Add in leeks and celery; cook 5 min or possibly till tender, stirring frequently.
  2. Stir in flour; cook 3 min. Gradually stir in lowfat milk and clam juice till smooth. Add in Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce, basil, thyme, and salt.
  3. Add in fish and potatoes; cook over low heat 5 min or possibly till fish flakes easily.
  4. This recipe yields 6 servings.
