Ingredientes

  • 10 ounce Small elbow macaroni
  • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
  • 5 1/2 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 c. Grated Crowley cheese, (see note)

Direcciones

  1. Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil over high heat. Add in macaroni, lower the heat to medium and cook, stirring occasionally, for 7 to 10 min. Drain. While macaroni is cooking, heat butter in a medium skillet over medium-low heat. Whisk flour into butter; continue to cook, whisking constantly, till mix reaches the consistency of a thick paste, about 2 min. Raise heat to medium, add in lowfat milk and continue to cook, whisking constantly, till mix thickens, about 5 min. Add in grated cheese; stir with a wooden spoon till cheese melts, about 2 min. Stir liquid removed macaroni into cheese sauce; serve.
