Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 c. sifted all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 T vinegar
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 c. cocoa pwdr
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  2. Grease bottoms of 3 (8-inch) layer cake pans. Measure sifted flour, baking soda and salt into sifter. Stir vinegar into lowfat milk in cup; set aside.Cream shortening till soft in large bowl. Gradually add in sugar, creaming well after each addition. Beat in large eggs, one at a time. Blend in cocoa pwdr. Sift flour, soda and salt into creamed mix, adding alternately with soured lowfat milk; blend after each addition till batter is smooth. Stir in hot water and vanilla.
  3. Pour into prepared pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 min. Cool cake after baking and frost with chocolate cream frosting.
