I'm in love with this recipe. Going to my uncle's for Labor Day weekend; think I'll make this. I'm crust/pastry challenged, but I'll try!
.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20tapenade%20features%20in%20his%20recipe,%20but%20would%20be%20just%20as%20good%20slathered%20on%20bread,%20sandwiches,%20etc.%20The%20original%20recipe,%20which%20I%20got%20from%20Kate's%20Kitchen,%20calls%20for%20anchovy%20filets.%20I%20substituted%20anchovy%20paste%20because%20I%20had%20it%20on%20hand.%20And%20I%20may%20have%20bumped%20up%20the%20amount%20of%20goat%20cheese...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServed%20with%20grilled%20rack%20of%20lamb%20and%20a%20fennel,%20arugula%20and%20mixed%20baby%20tomato%20salad,%20we%20agreed%20this%20was%20the%20best%20dinner%20we've%20had%20since%20our%20daughter%20was%20born.%20We%20finished%20the%20leftover%20tart%20last%20night%20with%20some%20grilled%20chicken%20and%20it%20was%20still%20delicious.%20This%20recipe%20will%20be%20made%20again%20and%20again%20in%20my%20kitchen!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMake%20the%20dough:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPulse%20the%20flour,%20sugar%20and%20salt%20in%20a%20food%20processor.%20Add%20the%20water%20through%20the%20tube%20and%20pulse%20again.%20Keep%20the%20processor%20running%20and%20add%20the%20butter%20one%20piece%20at%20a%20time%20until%20the%20dough%20forms%20a%20ball.%20Refrigerate%20at%20least%2020%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMake%20the%20black%20olive%20paste:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombine%20all%20ingredients%20in%20a%20food%20processor%20and%20pulse%20until%20it%20forms%20a%20paste.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMake%20the%20tart:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMelt%20the%20butter%20in%20a%20pan%20and%20saute%20the%20onions%20until%20caramelized.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20450F.%20Press%20the%20tart%20dough%20into%20the%20bottom%20and%20up%20the%20sides%20of%20a%20tart%20pan.%20Spread%20the%20olive%20paste%20evenly%20over%20the%20bottom,%20then%20top%20with%20the%20caramelized%20onions.%20Sprinkle%20the%20chopped%20olives%20over%20the%20onions%20and%20finish%20by%20crumbling%20the%20goat%20cheese%20over%20the%20top.%20Bake%20for%2020-25%20minutes%20or%20until%20the%20crust%20is%20golden%20and%20the%20cheese%20is%20beginning%20to%20brown.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
