One Pan Curly Roni And Meat Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Grnd beef
  • 1 c. Onion, , minced
  • 1 x Clove Garlic, , finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp Sweet basil flakes
  • 1 Tbsp. Chili pwdr, (opt.)
  • 2 can (8-ounce) Tomato sauce, (or possibly 1 15-ounce. can)
  • 2 Tbsp. Grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 pkt (8-ounce) American Beauty Curly-Roni

Direcciones

  1. Cook beef, onion, and garlic in a large fry pan till meat is lightly browned and onion is soft. Add in remaining ingredients except cheese and Curly-Roni. Add in 3 c. of water, bring to boil, add in uncooked Curly-Roni.
  2. Stir, return to boil, cover and cook over medium heat 15 min, stirring frequently. Add in grated cheese, stir well, cover, turn off heat and let stay on burner 30 min, stirring occasionally. Reheat if necessary.
  3. Makes 6cups.
  4. NOTES : I cooked this in an electric skillet with a lid, and used about 1/5 of a 2-lb. Kraft American cheese stick, grated and sprinkled on top, and then sprinkled on the Parmesan cheese. This dish is very good. I used to take it to camping pot-luck dinners and everyone liked it.
