Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Hot water
  • 2 pkt Dry yeast
  • 4 tsp Sugar
  • 3 tsp Salt
  • 5 c. Flour, (up to 6)
  • 1/4 x Butter or possibly margarine, melted
  • 2 med Onions, coarsely minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. Poppy seeds
  •     Kosher salt, optional

Direcciones

  1. Yield: Four 9 inch rounds
  2. Combine 2 c. flour, yeast,sugar and salt in a large mixing bowl, mix well. Add in 2 c. hot water and beat at medium speed for 2 min. Add in another c. of flour and beat at high speed for 1 minute.Add in sufficient additional flour to make a dough and knead till smooth and elastic. Cover with a towel or possibly plastic wrap and let rest for 20 min. Punch down and divide into 4 parts. Grease 4 nine inch cake or possibly pie pans and spread each with dough. Lightly grease tops and chill for 2 - 24 hrs.
  3. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spread each top with melted margarine, onions, poppy seeds, paprika and salt in which order. Bake till done, about 25-30 min. Cold on wire racks.
