Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Onions (I used Vidalias)
  • 2 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin extra virgin olive oil

Direcciones

  1. Slice onions into thin wedges and saute/fry in margarine till brown (about 12 min). Transfer to bowl of food processor and chop slightly. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.
  2. I served this, warm, over thinly sliced broiled flank steak, alongside corn on the cob and a salad. The flavour combinations were interesting, but I think I'm going to decrease the amount of sugar next time, since the vinegar was so sweet on its own.
