- Saute/fry pork in large frying pan till browned on all sides. Sprinkle with marjoram, stirring to saute/fry herb. Add in port, orange juice, water, lemon juice, orange peel, ginger and bay leaves. Cover; simmer till pork is very tender - about 2 hrs. Remove meat to serving dish. Add in figs, apples and orange pcs to pan. Cover; simmer about 10 min, just till apples are soft. Spoon fruit and juices over pork. Serve with rice.
