Ingredientes

  • 2 sm Bibb lettuce heads
  • 1/2 lb Fresh spinach
  • 2 x Navel oranges peeled, sectioned
  • 1/2 med Red onion thinly sliced,
  •     and separated into rings
  • 1/2 c. Minced Georgia pecans toasted
  • 1/4 c. Minced and toasted pecans
  • 2 x Garlic cloves
  • 2 Tbsp. White wine vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Dry mustard
  • 1/3 c. Extra virgin olive oil

Direcciones

  1. In a food processor or possibly blender, process all dressing ingredients for 1 minute at high speed. Set aside till ready to use.
  2. Tear lettuce and spinach into bite-size pcs; toss with orange sections and onion in large bowl. Drizzle pecan dressing over salad and toss again till all ingredients are lightly coated. Serve salad on individual serving plates and top each with 1 Tbsp. toasted pecans.
