Ingredientes

  • 4 x Thick pork chops, (1 inch)
  • 1 dsh Salt and pepper
  • 1/8 tsp Paprika
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. Grated orange peel
  • 1 c. Orange juice
  • 1 tsp Whole Cloves
  •     Warm Cooked Rice

Direcciones

  1. Sprinkle chops with salt, pepper and paprika. Brown chops on both sides; add in water to skillet. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 40-45 min, turning once. Combine sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon in medium pan; stir in orange rind, orange juice, and cloves. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till thick and bubbly. Serve chops over rice with sauce.
