Ingredientes

  •     Vegetable cooking spray
  • 1 3/4 c. Sifted cake flour
  • 2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. Unsweetened orange juice
  • 1 tsp Grated orange rind
  • 4 x Egg whites, stiffly beaten

Direcciones

  1. Coat the bottom of an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan with cooking spray; dust with flour, and set aside.
  2. Combine flour and next 3 ingredients in a large bowl. Add in oil and orange juice; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer till batter is smooth
  3. (batter will be thick). Add in orange rind and about 1/3 of egg whites, and stir gently; mix in remaining egg whites.
  4. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min or possibly till a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold in pan 10 min; remove from pan, and cold on a wire rack.
  5. Yield: 16 servings.
