Ingredientes

  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 can nonfat chicken broth (1 3/4 c.)
  • 1/3 c. honey
  • 1/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 4 x skinless boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 c. thinly sliced carrots
  • 8 ounce sliced waterchestnuts liquid removed
  • 2 c. snow peas
  • 4 c. cooked white rice
  •     Or possibly brown rice

Direcciones

  1. MIX cornstarch, broth, honey, vinegar, soy and pepper.
  2. COOK chicken in nonstick skillet till browned.
  3. Add in cornstarch mix, carrots and water chestnuts. Cook till mix boils and thickens, stirring. Cover and cook over low heat 5 minutes. or possibly till done. Stir in peas. Serve with rice.
