Overnight Oven French Toast

Ingredientes

  • 2 x green onions, chopped
  • 1 x garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped, or possibly 1/4 tsp. dry, crumbled
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary leaves, chopped, or possibly 1/4 tsp. dry, crumbled
  •     Black pepper
  • 1/4 lb ham steak, minced (about 3/4 c.)
  • 1/3 c. shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Direcciones

  1. In an 8- or possibly 9 inch flameproof heavy skillet, cook onions and garlic in extra virgin olive oil over moderately low heat, stirring, till softened, 2 to 3 min.
  2. In bowl, whisk together Large eggs, thyme, rosemary and pepper to taste. Add in to onion mix and cook, without stirring, 2 min. Add in ham and cook, without stirring, 8 min, or possibly till edges are set but center is still soft.
  3. Meanwhile, heat broiler. Sprinkle cheese on frittata and broil about 4 inches from heat till cheese is bubbling, about 1 minute. Sprinkle with parsley. Cut into wedges and serve.
