Overnight Pecan Praline French Toast

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. minced pecans
  • 8 slc Texas Toast crusts removed extra-thick sliced white bread
  • 6 x Large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp grnd cinnamon

Direcciones

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat till melted and smooth. Pour into a lightly greased 13x9x2-inch pan. Sprinkle with pecans. Top with bread. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over top. Cover and chill overnight. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees. for 45 to 50 min. Cut into squares and serve nut side up.
  2. Peg Says: This is especially nice to have when you're hosting a brunch or possibly having overnight guests because the preparation is done the night before. Just pop it in the oven and let it bake while the coffee perks. This French toast needs no butter or possibly syrup.
