Overnight Winter Fruit Bowl

Ingredientes

  • 3 x Egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. White sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. White vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. Pineapple juice or possibly syrup from a can
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter
  •     Salt to taste
  • 2 c. Seeded grapes or possibly liquid removed pitted cherries
  • 2 c. Pineapple chunks, liquid removed
  • 2 c. Mandarin oranges, liquid removed
  • 2 c. Tiny marshmallows
  • 1 c. Whipping cream, whipped

Direcciones

  1. Combine the first six ingredients in a double boiler. Cook and stir till thick. Don't boil! Fold this cooled sauce into whipped cream, then fold into the fruit. Place in a large serving bowl and garnish the top with fruit if you like. Place in refrigerator for 24 hrs. Serve cool.
