Ingredientes

  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in
  •     A splash of water
  • 1 c. whole lowfat milk
  • 1/2 tsp freshly-grated nutmeg
  • 8 slc stale white bread
  •     (or possibly 6 slices thick-cut stale bread)
  •     Butter for griddle pan
  •     Three Berry Compote (see recipe)
  •     Hot maple syrup
  •     Powdered sugar
  •     Cinnamon sugar
  •     Fresh berries

Direcciones

  1. Preheat nonstick griddle or possibly skillet over medium heat. Beat Large eggs very well, add in sugar and beat again. Add in cornstarch in water and beat which in, then add in lowfat milk and nutmeg. Coat bread thoroughly in egg-lowfat milk mix.
  2. Lightly butter warm pan with butter nested in paper towels. Add in bread to the pan and cook slowly, 3 or possibly min on each side, 2 to 3 slices at a time. Serve warm with your favorite toppings or possibly Three Berry Compote
  3. This recipe yields 6 to 8 slices.
