Ingredientes

  • 1/2 lrg Onion
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 1/3 c. Raisins
  • 1/2 c. Peas
  • 2 c. Precooked rice
  • 2 c. Water
  • 1 tsp Salt

Direcciones

  1. Place onion in 2 c. water. Boil 10-20 min. Remove onion from water.
  2. Add in raisins to butter and heat. Add in rice to warm butter and raisins. Stir mix constantly till rice is browned. Add in peas (if frzn, thaw first).
  3. Add in the water minus onion. Bring to boil. Simmer 5 min in covered pan.
  4. If any liquid remains, simmer uncovered till liquid is gone.
