This is very healthy and tasty dish.It taste exactly like sarson ka saag,the very famous dish of Punjabi's in India.I paried this dish with Bajare ki roti,which really comes out yum.

Ingredients
For the Saag:
2 bunch of spinach/palak
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2-3 medium size tomatoes, chopped
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1 inch ginger, chopped
- 5-6 garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 2-3 tbsp butter or 1 or 2 butter sticks
- 1 tbsp maize flour
- ½ cup water
- salt
- For tempering the Saag
- 1 medium sized onion, finely chopped enough for saag meant for 2 people
- 1 small green chili
- 1 tsp chopped ginger
- 1-2 tbsp ghee/clarified butter
INSTRUCTIONS
Preparing the Saag:
1)Put Spinach/palak,onions, tomatoes, ginger-garlic-chili, butter, maize flour, salt and chili powder with water in a Pressure cooker
2)Wait for 7-8 minutes for whistels.
3)When cooled, blend the whole mixture smoothly
Preparing the Tempering :
1)Take saute pan add ghee than onions and fry till light brown.
2)Add browned onions into the bowl of saag.
3)Top the spinach saag with butter and serve with Bajare ki roti.
