Ingredientes

  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 to 4 ears of fresh corn or possibly 1 (12 ounce) whole-kernel corn, liquid removed
  • 1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour (sift before measuring)
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil

Direcciones

  1. Separate large eggs (egg whites in small bowl and egg yolks in large bowl.) Mix egg whites at high speed till stiff. Set aside while you prepare rest of batter. Cut off corn - add in corn, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper using wooden spoon, stir corn mix till ingredients are combined, stir in sifted flour and baking pwdr. Drop corn mix by tablespoonsful into the hot oil and brown for 3 min. Remove from frying pan and place on paper towels to drain. Add in oil each time. Serve with maple syrup and sausage.
