Receta Pancake Bites
I made these Pancake Bites with my Grandson in mind. He loves pancakes:) I thought this recipe would be fun to make the next time he comes for a visit. I used my Mickey Mouse ice cream scoop to make these and I thought it would be fun to serve the maple syrup in the "scoop" part:) This recipe is my version of Denny's Pancake Puppies.
- 2 cups Buttermilk Pancake mix or Krustez Blueberry Pancake Mix
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups oil for frying
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 t cinnamon
- maple syrup
Preheat oil to 350º in a deep fryer or large deep skillet.
Stir together sugar and cinnamon, set aside.
Stir together pancake mix and water, Set aside for 10 mins.
Use a small scoop to drop batter by scoopfuls into hot oil.
Fry for 2-4 mins. or until golden brown.
Remove from oil with large slotted spoon.
Drain on paper towels for about 30 seconds.
Roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.
Serve with warmed maple syrup.
