Ingredientes

  • 2 lb Large shrimp
  • 1/4 c. Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. Lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. Fresh gingerroot, chopped
  • 2 x Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 2 sm Jalapeno peppers, coarsely minced
  • 1 pch Pepper
  •     Lime wedges

Direcciones

  1. Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tails on.
  2. In blender, pure half of the oil, lime juice, giger, garlic, jalapeno peppers and pepper; toss gently with shrimp to coat well. Cover and chill for 1 hour.
  3. Meanwhile, soak wooden skewers in cool water for 30 min.
  4. Thread 3 or possibly 4 shrimp onto each skewer. Throw away remaining marinade.
  5. Brush one side of shrimp with some of the remaining oil. cook shrimp, oiled side down, over medium-warm grill or possibly broil for about 2 min per side or possibly till pink and hard to the touch, turning once and brushing with remaining oil.
  6. Transfer to serving place; garnish with lime.
