Ingredientes

  • 2 x Large eggs separated
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. matzah cake meal
  • 1/8 c. potato starch

Direcciones

  1. Beat egg whites with an electric beater till soft peaks form. Gradually add in sugar and continue beating till stiff peaks, but not dry. Using same beaters, beat egg whites with oil till light, about 5 min. Add in lowfat milk, continue beating.
  2. Gradually add in dry ingrediants. Batter will be thick. Mix in egg whites in two batches.
  3. Pour batter into prepared waffle iron. Will make about 4 waffles. This batter can also be used for griddle pancakes.
