Pastry Pie Crust (Non Fat)

Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Flour all-purpose
  • 3/4 tsp Lite salt optional
  • 1/3 c. Light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. Skim lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Prepare dough as usual: Combine dry ingredients and liquids separately.
  2. Then sprinkle liquid mix over dry mix, combining with a fork till mass will hold together. Don't overwork the dough. Form dough into a ball and roll out on a floured surface, or possibly roll out between two pcs of floured waxed paper.
  3. Place circle of dough in pie pan. Ease down into pan without stretching. Trim off any edges which hang over.
  4. If baking unfilled, prick the bottom and sides with a fork and bake 10 min in a preheated 475 oven. If baking filled, use the baking times with the recipe.
  5. To prevent the edge crust on the top of the pie from getting too brown, place foil over the exposed top of the crust while it bakes till the last ten min.
  6. Makes one crust.
