Ingredientes

  • 8 x Ears of corn, (up to 10)
  • 1 x Smoked turkey wing
  • 8 c. Chicken broth
  • 1 c. Diced celery
  • 1 c. Diced carrots
  • 1 c. Diced potatoes
  • 1 c. Finely minced onion
  •     Salt and freshly grnd black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 c. Cream, (up to 2)
  •     Minced fresh parsley to taste

Direcciones

  1. Here is a recipe given by singer Patti LaBelle.
  2. Slice corn kernels into bowl. Scrape remaining part of kernels and lowfat milk from cob with the back of a knife, scraping downward, into bowl. Saute/fry' turkey wing till cooked, in a large kettle or possibly pot. Remove turkey wing.
  3. Remove meat from bone and cut into small pcs. Set aside. Add in chicken broth, corn, celery, carrots, potatoes and onions to kettle and cover.
  4. Bring slowly to boil. Reduce heat and SIMMER slowly till vegetables are tender, about 25 to 30 min. Season with salt and pepper. Add in cream.
  5. Reheat, but don't boil. Garnish each serving with turkey bits and minced parsley.
  6. Makes 6 servings
